This is a program that most of us know, but still if you are the people who still do not know about this tool, here is how to add it to your Taskbar.
Feb 25, 2018 Ok, just do this to get snip on taskbar. The Start Menu Button (Red Circle) All Apps (Red Line) Then on right side, scroll down (Scroll Bar on far right like your browser has) to the bottom to Windows Accessories folder and click on arrow. Right click on Snipping toolMoreand select 'Pin to Taskbar' (Left click).
First, Snipping Tool provides you with an easy to use screen capture tool. To put the Snipping Tool on your Taskbar (the bar on the bottom of your screen where you see program icons. Apple also has it, but calls it a different name: dock), use the big Windows Start button on the bottom left and in the Run box, type Snipping Tool. You should see the program as the first one on the resulting screen. Drag that program icon to your Taskbar (technical term is called pinning it to Taskbar). Now whenever you need to use the Snipping Tool, just click on that icon.
Once the program starts, you can drag the cross hair over a portion of the screen you want to capture. It is that simple.
Aug 26, 2016 We are quite often asked ‘How can I add the Snipping Tool to the Toolbar?’. The simple answer is you can’t. Technically speaking the ‘Toolbar’ in Windows is a seldom-used option accessed by right-clicking on the Taskbar and selecting the Toolbars option. Get into Start Menu, select All apps, choose Windows Accessories and tap Snipping Tool. Way 2: Open it by searching. Type snip in the search box on taskbar, and click Snipping Tool in the result. Way 3: Turn it on via Run. Display Run using Windows+R, input snippingtool and hit OK. Oct 13, 2012 Later, if you want to add the tool back to the program’s startup, simply go to the View tab in the main application. Click on the Clipping Panel button. This will fire up the clipping tool, and you can find it at the taskbar as usual. Click the Tool icon, and then check the Show when OneNote starts option again. The next time you start.
As always, if you encounter problems and want to know more about this program, contact Kelly or Don.

OneNote 2013 introduced the clipping tool which can help you quickly capture the screen, send content to OneNote, or write a note. Although this seems to be a useful feature, it automatically starts with the application and takes up space in your taskbar. Many users will want to disable this feature and to launch the tool only when necessary.
Software designers will eventually learn that users do not like extraneous features loading upon startup. From title screens to “helpful” tools, the majority of power users want these startup features disabled. OneNote’s clipping tool is one such feature. Sure many users will use the clipping tool frequently enough to autoload it; however, if you are not one of them, preventing the clipping tool from loading is easy enough.
